Starting Monday, Chic and Untroubled will have been active for at least three months now(we’re official ya’ll). To commemorate such a special event, we’re doing a giveaway! You’ll have to wait until Monday to see what it is, but I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Also, if you haven’t already noticed, this is the blog for all things chic in street and high fashion and our posts will start reflecting that starting next week. We’ve finally got our self situated on campus and have come to the conclusion that our best studying is done at 3am, so we can now give our site the attention it deserves.
We’re no hypebeast…
There are also tons of new features we’ll be introducing to you guys over the next few weeks(like our interview series), so get excited!
Basically, we plan upgrading big time over the next few months to accomodate all of the readers who have been showing us so much support. We really appreciate it and don’t plan on dissapointing anytime soon!

Femmes Fatales by Federales NYC is a new tee line catering to the ladies that have a propensity for standing out in a crowd. The brand started back in January 2007 as the uniform of the world’s Femmes Fatales. The brand is the Bonnie to the Federales’ Clyde, both Federales NYC and Femmes Fatales fall under the Team GENEius Concepts Umbrella. Since their only giving us tees now, I’m not ready to give them the full stamp of approval, but with their Fall collection dropping sometime soon- I’ll definitely be rooting for them.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 9
It’s Tyra bitch, and she don’t like smoking! In the opening photo shoot this season, the contestants had to do before and after looks in regards to how smoking cigarettes can effect one’s appearance over time. I commend Tyra for this because too many top models smoke and the consequences of these little cancer sticks often gets over-looked. Also, we discover that one of the contestants has a mild form of autism. The other girls in the house are still unaware, so they tease her behind her back about having a “two-second delay,” and having “fully functional autism,”… so bitchy. Well, the “distant” model Heather actually gets her photo back first tonight. Yay! However, Mila was sen home packing after she just couldn’t take the smoking shoot “seriously.” At the end of the episode, Tyra informs the house guests that smoking will no longer be allowed for the rest of the competition. Can anybody say drama?

5. Serena is still the slutty, pretty, dramatic, Arden Wohl-esqe NY socialite that will make us tune in again next week!

Love, love, love this show! Period.

Uniqlo, which is the Japanese version of American Apparal, now has Flagship stores not only in its home town of Tokyo but London and New York as well. To showcase the worldwide appreciation of the brand, Uniqlo’s 3rd Issue of its magazine, ‘Uniqlo Paper’ presents each major Uniqlo city in the brands signature style. Its also a chance for Uniqlo to announce its latest project alongside Pantone.
In conjunction with the UNIQLO London store opening in November, UNIQLO has teamed up with Pantone, world-renowned authority on color, for the second time, for a special collection of PANTONE-inspired cashmere. The PANTONE Color Collection of 100% cashmere sweaters offers two styles for men including a crewneck and a cardigan, and for women there is a deep v-neck. All styles are offered in a palette of 20 official PANTONE Colors. The PANTONE Cashmere Collection sweaters will retail at the affordable price of $129.50 and will be sold exclusively at the UNIQLO New York Flagship, the UT store, and UNIQLO Japan. UNIQLO’s first collaboration with Pantone was the launch of a line of PANTONE T-shirts earlier this year.

Oh, do behave! I’m loving the art deco details on these bags, very American and thirties-inspired, but really modern and elegant at the same time. Quite refreshing after that obnoxious Stam bag. The small turqouise bag with short handles is definitely my favorite. The flap that covers the main opening has a magnetic fastening and a zip fastening flap sits on the back. The stitching is immaculate as usual and zip pockets actually sit on the lining. Effortlessly chic and would even look great with a pair of your favorite jeans and grey American Apparel tee!
