“So Random” is our Wednesday feature that introduces our readers to some of the most interesting but completely useless random facts that some how relay back to fashion. We would explain how everything is connected, but it’s the middle of the week, our brains are kind of hurting, and all we can think about is Project Runway.

In the four professional major North American sports (baseball, basketball, football, and hockey), only eight teams nicknames do not end with “s.” These teams are the Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Avalanche, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Minnesota Wild.
