Old Navy: June 2008 Preview

Ok. Admittedly, I haven’t stepped foot inside of a Old Navy store since my days in middle school. A time when my wardrobe mainly consisted of graphic tees, cheap jeans, and flip-flops in every color imaginable. All items I could get at the store for next to nothing, and still have enough money left over to buy my Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera CDs.

So, even with the news that a once popular Todd Oldham would be taking the helm of the Gap. Inc label, I was still reluctant to embrace my junior high crush once again.

However, the Safari collection that dropped in April was surprisingly adorable and this June preview has me seriously considering skipping a lunch or two to afford the gas I’ll need to trek to my local Old Navy. Just kidding, but the economy is no joke, people.

The collection consists of a slew of sequined and metallic “party girl” dresses, flirty tops, a sleek khaki trench coat, a nice pair of wide-leg trousers, and three princess-y looks that could easily make the cut into the Gossip Girl casts wardrobe.

The rest of the looks after the jump. Warning: They’re all, actually, pretty cute.
