Please, don’t let visions of Avril Lavigne skateboarding through a mall hamper your decision to purchase a pair of Vans as cool as these.
I love these blue and white checkerboard Sk8-Hi’s Karmaloop just added to its online store. Aren’t they cool?
Even better, the sneakers will only set you back fifty bucks. This means you’ll still have enough cash left over to invest in Karen Richter’s Wellesley mid-top, covered in the artist’s whimsical drawings.

A couple of years ago, before Jessica Simpson divorced Nick Lachay and both still had viable careers, Jessica launched a line of edible beauty products called Dessert.
Being the MTV and Ulta loyalist that I was back in middle school, I begged my mother to take me to the nearest beauty store that stocked said products so I could test the sweet concoctions out for myself.
And boy oh boy, was I ever disappointed.
While I didn’t stand at the display set-up and literally consume the deliciously whipped body cream with candy sprinkles, say, like a real frozen treat, I did proceed to put a very small amount on my finger to which I eventually stepped up to the plate to lick and nearly gagged afterwards
Suffice it to say, I never bought into Jessica’s line, but I did get a very hot and sticky treat after my unpleasant experience. It was a Cinnabon. And once I saw this set of flavored gloss that’s suppose to actually taste just like the real thing, I was giddy, to say the least. Yummy.

I’ve never been good at wrapping presents or tying the pretty bows that are usually placed on top of the gifts.
My knots always look one sided and are most likely evidence that I may be suffering from ADD, so I usually try to stay away from them as much as possible.
Maison Martin Margiela must be suffering from the same unfortunate plight as myself: He’s a crappy ribbon wizard.
The king of moonlit tees and convertible towel handbags has crafted this silver ring to resemble that of a shiny pre-made gift bow — making it arguably the coolest piece of costume jewelry since Kenneth Jay Lane’s animal bracelets.

It’s not the neon Marc by Marc satchel Masha wore on the runway last season.
It’s much cooler than a pair of Doc Martens that bares a similar bright hue.
It’s never made when you’re late.
It’s a Baby-G better known as Sweet Poison.
But more importantly, It’s $79, here.

In case the Lego belts and broaches were a bit too “showy” for your liking, this block iPod speaker should satiate your retro fix this time around.
It’s green, eco-friendly, but definitely not annoying.
A.K.A. No batteries needed.
It’s powered off the energy of your iPod. So, the shuffle setting is preferred.
And unlike the Bose system, this little speaker only costs $25.
Yes, sometimes the best things in life are free — or just really cheap.

It’s summer.
Denim shorts, snow cones, Pinkberry, sunglasses, and t-shirts are a must.
Black nail polish? Not so much. Chanel? Absolutely, if you can get your hands on it.
So, the Hellz Bellz “Coco Bellz” tee should be claimed, by you dear friend, at the end of the day.
Coming in white and black, the pocket-friendly t-shirt has the uber-popular female streetwear brand’s name written out in Chanel black and hot pink nail polish.
Impossibly cool, affordable, and the chicest way to mourn the death of Black Satin.
At 5andadime for $36.
